This depicts the main characters of "the World Ends With You" before they enter the Reapers game.
They are too troubled by their own things to even notice they are so near eachother and that they will soon face great dangers togheter.

The title "Ante Mortem" is latin and means "Before Death"- but ya can ignore that if ya havent played the game
