Kingdom Hearts: Hearts of Destiny
Chapter 15: The Great Escape

"When we met you said that you left the neo organization because they lied about helping you find something...What is that 'something' you are searching for?"

"I'm searching for my sister..."

"Your sister? What's sisters name? What is she like?"

"My sister is...the seventh princess of heart; Kairi from Radiant Garden..."

"Kairi...Kairi's your sister?!" Sakuya opened her mouth in disbelief, sure, no one on Destiny Island knew anything about Kairi's past before she arrived, not even the adults or Kairi herself as she claimed that she couldn't remember it (whether this was true or not didn't matter) and Sakuya knew that she probably had a family out there somewhere, but that Kailen was her brother was unbelievable.

"Surprised?" Kailen's lips formed into a slanting smile and he looked like he enjoyed Sakuya's bewilderment. "You better close your mouth before an elephant flies in."

"Yeah...I mean, well, I never thought that..."

"That she could have a family? A brother?" Kailen teased the blond girl.

"Yes...No! I mean no! Its just...I never imagined that you would be her brother!" Sakuya really struggled with her explanation, she hardly knew what she herself had thought.

Kailen chuckled warmly and smiled gently,"Don't worry, I'm just pulling your tail!".

"My tail? But I don't feel you pulling my tail!" Sakuya said and waved with her lion tail and together they started to giggle wildly. When they had finally gotten enough they dried away a few tears that had appeared in their eyes during their laughing attack. "So...do you mind if I ask what happened? I mean, how you were separated and how she came to my island?"

Kailen's expression instantly became sadder but he nodded to answer that it was ok. "Once upon a time we lived with our parents in Radiant Garden...It was a happy time...No heartless, no Nobodies, no enemies...But then Ansem started experimenting with the darkness of heart, his assistants became obsessed with the darkness, Maleficent attacked and our world was plunged into darkness and we lost our parents...Before Maleficent toke over our world, Xehanort kidnapped Kairi, erased her memories and sent her out into the ocean of stars, letting her drift freely until she came to the world where the new Keyblade wielder would be...and so I started my search for her..."

Sakuya stared up at the boy, her eyes filled with such honest empathy that Kailen was taken aback by it. His story hadn't been very detailed but she still understood what kind of hell he had to go through. A warm and somewhat unfamiliar sensation started to well up inside Kailen's cold emotionless body, the feeling wasn't unpleasant but it startled him and he quickly got up and started to move towards the edge of the glade.

~This..this feeling...Its exactly the same as the feeling I got from her...Why?~ Kailen thought and formed his right hand into a fist.

Suddenly he felt something tug on his left sleeve and as he looked over his shoulder he could see Sakuya's crystal blue eyes looking straight into his own blue eyes. "Kailen...Back when we confronted Sora... I really wanted to give in and follow with him but...I still didnt because I knew it was wrong, so...Hang in there too, okay? I'm here for you if you ever need to talk to someone!" As the warm and gentle smile returned to Kailen's face the heaviness in Sakuya eased up. Kailen put his hand on Sakuya's head and ruffled her hair.

"Don't worry, I wont give in...As long as you don't..."

Meanwhile in Nottingham's great castle a couple of heavy oaken doors opened and the sheriff of Nottingham wandered in singing merrily with his screechy voice.

"He throws an angry tantrum if he cannot have his way, he calls for Mom and sucks his thumb and doesn't want to play, too late to be known as John the First, he's sure to be known as John the Wooooorst!" The grey wolf walked up to Sir Hiss who seemed to enjoy the song even thought the wolf sang false and then the sheriff threw a bag of coins on Hiss' table. Giggling he asked Sir Hiss," How about that?"

"That's P.J. to a 'T.'Let me try. Let me try." The snake answered while chuckling and started to clear his throat and warm up his voice.

"Too late to be known as John the First, he's sure to be known as John the Worst!" The snake sang with a darker voice than normal but it suddenly changed tone when he noticed the prince watching them in the door."The fabulous, marvelous, merciful, chivalrous--"

"Oh, you got it all wrong, Hiss!" The sheriff, who hadn't discovered the prince in the doors opening, protested and started to correct the snake and in the process angered Prince John."The snivelin', grovelin', weaselly, measly--"

"Enough!" The mane less lion roared furiously so that the liquid in the carafe he was holding spilt all over the floor.

"But-But, sire, it's a big hit...The whole village is singin' it! " The sheriff tried to explain to cover up for himself but soon found a carafe flying at him so he had to duck to avoid it.

"Oh, they are, are they?Well, they'll be singing a different tune. Double the taxes! Triple the taxes! Squeeze every last drop...out of those insolent, musical peasants!" Prince John growled and started to choke and shake Sir Hiss without thinking about what he was doing.

Later that day the rain fell heavy over the small village of Nottingham, making the dirty ground muddy and the whole place a dark grey which fitted the new depressed atmosphere perfectly. In a small church just outside Nottingham the bells rung but no one came.

"Friar Tuck," A small mouse called Sexton sighed," I don't think anyone is coming."

"You're right, Sexton, but maybe the sound of this church bell...will bring those poor people some comfort. We must do what we can to keep their hopes alive." The friar explained the mouse as he stopped ringing the church bells.

"Oh, how can there be any hope with that tyrant Prince John...taxing the heart and soul out of the poor people?" Mother Mouse wondered as she sweeped the floor outside of her mouse hole.

"Yes, those poor people." Tuck went up to the church box and opened it to find it empty. "Look, our poor box is like our church-- empty."

Saddened by what the friar's words Mother Mouse hastened into her mouse hole and took out an hidden coin with which she soon came out with and gave to the friar. "Friar Tuck, we've saved this. It's not much, but please take it for the poor."

"Your last farthing?Ah little Sister! No one can give more than that. Bless you both." Tuck thanked them, accepted the coin and put it in the box.

"Oh, we were just saving it for a rainy day." Sexton smiled as he looked up from the organ he was playing on.

"Well, it's rainin' now." Friar Tuck chuckled and looked out the wet window."Things can't get worse."

Suddenly the church doors opened and let in both the rain and the fat wolf sheriff, both just as unwelcome. "Howdy, Friar! Well, it looks like I dropped by just in time." The sheriff chuckled, and in shock Sexton stopped playing the organ.

"What does that big-bellied bully want?" Sexton wondered angrily but Mother Mouse tried to keep him quiet."Father, shh!"

Without waiting to be asked to come in the sheriff ventured in and quickly opened the church box and picked up the coin which the Friar had just gotten."Hmm. Well, what have we got here?"

"Now, just a minute, Sheriff! Th- Th- That's the poor box!"Tuck yelled out to the sheriff.

"It sure is, and I'll just take it for poor Prince John. Every little bit helps."The sheriff chuckled and put down the coin in his pouch.

"Ooh, you put that back!"Mother Mouse cried out.

"And His Majesty also blesses you, little sister." the sheriff went on without listening to the little mouse.

"You thievin' scoundrel!" The Friar yelled furiously.

"Now, take it easy, Friar. I'm just doin' my duty." The sheriff tried to calm down the angry Friar.

"Collectin' taxes for that arrogant, greedy, ruthless, no-good Prince John?"

"Listen, Friar, you're mighty preachy, and you're gonna preach your neck right into a hangman's noose." The sheriff warned Tuck but it only sett him off even more.

"Get out of my church!" The Friar bellowed and pushed back the fat sheriff out the door with his own large belly."Out! Out! Out! Out!"

"Ooh! Ooh! Ooh! Ooh!"

"You want taxes?"The Friar picked up a stick and started to beat the sheriff with it."I'll give you taxes!" It actually seemed to go pretty well for him as the sheriff hardly got a chance to defend himself with his sword. Bam! The sheriff got it in his stomach! Bom! It hit him on his head.

"Ow!"

Just in that moment came Sakuya and her friend walking to the church, they had just been to town and heard around there if anything odd had happened like a great light had shone from somewhere, but their search had been going bad and except for that they now knew that the prince had recently raised the taxes, they knew nothing new. The fight between the two fat men stunned them, never would they have thought that a such a religious and kind man would fight against the no good wolf sheriff. Sakuya, Allie, Alex, Roka and Arin could feel smiles spread on their lips; the sheriff were finally getting what he deserved!
But Riku, Saiko and Kailen did not smile, they knew that this could only have a bad ending.

"Give it to him! Give it to him! Give it to him, Friar!"Sexton cheered from the church's entrance.

But suddenly something went wrong, the sheriff got an opening and used it to cut the Friar's stick in two, and thought he still tried to go on luck did not smile upon him as one of the sheriffs vulture assistants suddenly stopped in, graped Tuck's hood and pulled it over his head so he couldn't see anything. With moments had the sheriff picked up a big chain and put it around Tucks neck.

"You're under arrest for high treason to the crown."

"Oh, no!" Sakuya cried out and in vain tried to rush up to the Friar and help him, but Kailen just held her back telling her that she couldn't meddle in this world affairs, which she already knew but still wanted to do...She just wanted to help the poor old man.

"C'mon, we have to go and tell Robin about this!" Riku stated and started to lead the group back to the forest.

Sakuya could only follow with them, and with Kailen's arm around her shoulder, watch how the sheriff lead away poor Friar Tuck and soon joined in with a hoard of Heartless.

The thunder cracked above the castle in which Prince John sat, angrily staring in front of him. His teeth and fists were clenched so hard that he could probably broken his own teeth and injured his palms, he even totally ignored Sir Hiss' attempts at cheering him up. Hiss cleared his throat and said: " Sire, if I may... may venture an opinion, you're not your usual cheerful, genial self today."

He was still ignored."I-I-I know. I know. You haven't counted your money for days, hmm? It always makes you so happy!" He picked up a few coins with his tail and let them drop to make a clirring sound, but he was still ignored by the prince. "Taxes are pouring in, the jail is full. And, oh, I have good news, sire. Friar Tuck is in jail."

"Friar Tuck?!" Bellowed angrily, jumped up from his throne and in the process, made a lot of money fly."It's Robin Hood I want, you idiot! I'd give all my gold if I could just get my hands...Did you say Friar Tuck?"

"Did I? Y-Y-Yes, I did."Sir Hiss answered, afraid of getting hit or strangled.

Suddenly the doors  to the room flew up revealing a fat man, this wasn't the Sheriff however...This man were more cat like and his fur was black."Good afternoon Your Majesty!" The stranger greeted, making his fat chin and tummy bounce.

"Good afternoon yourself Pete! I trust you're not here due to problems with your mistress, Maleficent?" the prince eyed the cat carefully, knowing that even thought he provided the prince with Heartless soldiers, he could be rather not so trust worthy, especially with the witch Maleficent on his side.

"No, not at all!" He insisted. "I'm here to look into our common interests! I heard that you have put a friar in your jail..."

"And whats it to you?" John snarled.

"Take it easy Your Highness! Diablo, my mistress crow, has recently spotted the keyblade master not to long ago in this world, and as you know, Maleficent wishes to have that keyblade."

"So? That's hardly any of my problems."

"Really? Keyblade masters have a reputation of well, thwart greedy men's plans, even if it means meddling with the worlds affairs. And with innocents in jail, especially a friar, I doubt she'll be silent for very long...But you have probably already figured that out, hmmm? She'll probably join forces with that thief Robin Hood...Enemy of my enemy is my friend and all that..."

"Hmmm...Your right...We need to set up a trap for them..." Prince John pulled the hair on his cheek thoughtfully. "Ah! Hiss, I have it! I'll use that fat friar as bait to trap Robin Hood."

"Another trap?"Sir Hiss carefully asked, hoping that the prince wouldn't hurt him.

"Yes, yes, you stupid serpent! Friar Tuck will be led to the gallows in the village square, don't you see?" The prince explained and leaned on the wall, next to the window which was so wet, you couldn't see the outside.

"B-B-But, sire, hang Friar Tuck, a man of the church?" Even Sir Hiss thought it was a bit to much to hang a friar, but the other two didnt seem to have any trouble with it.

"Yes, my reluctant reptile. And when our elusive heroes tries to rescue the corpulent cleric," The prince laughed menacing, "my men will be ready!"

As the lightning struck again, prince John smiled wickedly. In another part of Nottingham, in the Sherwood forest, Sakuya finished telling the story for Robin, Lady Marian and Little John who became upset to say the least about the friars imprisonment.

"This is not good..." Robin said as his brain worked as hard as it could to process everything." The punishment for treason is death..."

"Oh no! Robin! He cant do it! Tuck is a man of the church!" Marian sobbed as she looked up at Robin.

"Sorry to say it my lady, but if he is just as ruthless as when we saw him at the contest, he is definitely going to go through with it..." Riku answered with pain in his voice.

"Rob, we can't let 'em hang Friar Tuck! We have to save him!" Little John clenched his teeth.

"And we will, don't worry!" Robin nodded to little John. "A jailbreak tonight is the only chance he's got."

"There is just one thing, the prince will surely be expecting us and set up a trap...So we need to be prepared too! I think I have a plan!" Saiko said and grabbed a little extra attention.

"But isn't this meddling? We weren't allowed to meddle!" Roka was worried as she didnt like breaking such important rules.

"Who said we are meddling? We are just helping some friends to save another friend from death. That's not meddling!" Sakuya smiled, feeling really good for finding a loophole.

"Ok, lets get on with it!" Arin cried out and so they started planing for the rescue and the rain slowly stopped falling.

Later that evening a few shadows moved swiftly over to the castle walls after having rowed over the water filled moat, using an old ladder to climb the wall, they soon reached its crest and carefully they looked around to see if there were any heartless or traps nearby. They could see the gallow which was prepared to hang Friar Tuck, and a lot of big bellied heartless, the Large Body kind of Heartless, and smaller soldier Heartless...
Not a good sign but it revealed that they were expecting the rebels. At the gate that lead to the prison dungeons, sat the sheriff, snoozing away while his two vulture henchmen guarded. The group carefully sneaked over the stones and down on the courtyard, they didnt want to alert the castles guards that they were there yet.

Hiding well so the vultures couldn't see them, they waited for the right moment to take down them. Suddenly one of them, Nutsy, started yelling: "One o'clock and all's well!" just before the tower clock chimed three times, and startled the gang.

The sheriff woke up a little and mumbled:"Nutsy, you'd better set your brains ahead a couple of hours."

"Yes, sir. Uh, does that there mean addin' or subtractin'?" The nutty bird asked.

"Oh, let's forget it." The sheriff answered as he was to tired to deal with Nutsy's nuttiness.

"Yes, sir, Sheriff, sir."

"Nutsy, how can I sleep with you yelling 'All's well' all the time here?"

"Sheriff, everything ain't 'all's well.'"The other vulture commented with suspicion and accidentally pointed his loaded crossbow towards the sheriff who didnt like it and pushed it away from him."I got a feelin' in my bones there's gonna be a jailbreak any minute."

"Criminently, Trigger! Point that peashooter the other way!"

"Don't you worry none, Sheriff. The safety's on Old Betsy." Trigger told the wolf and patted the old crossbow which reacted to the motion by releasing the arrow it had loaded. It ricocheted all over the courtyard like the bounciest rubber ball until it lost speed and landed on the ground.

"What in tarnation you tryin' to do, you birdbrain?!" the raggy wolf bellowed and punched the vulture so hard his helmet broke.

"Just doin' my duty, Sheriff." Trigger answered.

"You and that itchy trigger finger of yours."

When the other birdbrain was out of sight for Trigger and the Sheriff, the gang acted quickly and knocked Nutsy out cold so he was hardly able to even give a muffled scream.

"Hey, did you hear that?"Trigger tried to listen after something that didnt belong in the warm Nottingham night.

"Sure did, Trigger. There's something funny going on around here. Come on." the sheriff agreed and started walking to check out what it might have been."You cover me."

After a few minutes of walking the sheriff suddenly recalled the instability of the weapon that the vulture was carrying,"Wait a minute. Is the safety on Old Betsy?"

"You bet it is, Sheriff.

"That's what I'm afraid of. You go first." Sheriff told him and they traded places.

When they reached where they thought they had heard the noise the grey fat wolf called out:"All right, you in there, come out with your hands up."

"Yeah, reach for the sky." Trigger agreed.

Meanwhile Robin finished up his disguise and you could easily mistake him for Nutsy, especially in this darkness.

"Just you watch this "performance", partner." Robin told Little John.

"Be careful, Rob." The big bear whispered and the rest of the group also wished for him to be careful as he walked out in sight.

"Jehoshaphat, Trigger. Put that peashooter down." Robin called out to them.

"Aw, shucks, Trigger, it's only Nutsy." the sheriff said disappointedly and sheathed his sword."And criminently, get back to your patrol!"

"On the double. Get! I'm a-gettin'."Trigger started to run to get back as soon as he could.

"That Trigger. He's gettin' everybody edgy. Nothing's gonna happen. That fat friar...is gonna dangle from the gallows come daybreak."The sheriff mumbled to himself as he went back to his post.

"Sheriff, why don't you just sit yourself down here kind of cozy-like?" Robin let him sit down on a chair, hoping he would soon fall asleep.

"Well, thank you, Nutsy."

"Just close your sleepy little eyeballs. The sandman's a-comin'."Robin whispered and soon the big bad wolf had fallen asleep like a little baby.

"Why don't you, uh, let me loosen that belt?" Robin asked and started to loosen up the belt to get the keys from the sheriff who was hardly conscious of it. Carefully he put the key into the keyhole in the door that lead to the jail."Rock-a-bye, Sheriff, Just you relax..." Robin hummed.

"Isn't that a bit unnecessary? I could just have used the keyblade! After all it can open any locks!" Sakuya blurted out as she watched Robin work, and got told to keep quiet.

"Oh, Nutsy, that's mighty sweet. Sing it one more time, would you?" the sheriff asked as the last part of his consciousness drifted of into sweet dreams.

"Rock-a-bye, Sheriff...Just you relax...." Robin hummed until the sheriff started to snore loudly, he waved the gang in as he opened the door for them.

With little time to spare Robin gave them the keys and they hastened inside, except Robin who stayed on the other side so fast they forgot to close the door softly so it wouldn't sound to much. With a bang it woke up the sheriff, alerted Trigger and hell broke loose as Old Betsy went off.

"Wait a minute! Jailbreak! Jailbreak!" Trigger called out loudly as he ran towards the jail door."I heard it! I heard it, Sheriff! The door! The door!"

Trigger came to an halt as Robin made him trip.

"Now, for the last time, no more false alarms." The sheriff told the nutty bird and kicked him on his behind.

"Ow!"

"Now, you release Friar Tuck and the others...and I'll drop in on the royal treasury." Robin whispered to little John and the rest of the group. And so they split up, and the gang worked their way through the dark and grey tower until they found the villagers, which was pretty easy as they had for example put up a piece of paper on the Friars cell that told who ever was reading it that he was on death row...Pretty grim according to Sakuya's thoughts.

"Oh, Little John, it can't be!" The Friar spoke as he opened the door and walked in to free the Friar from his chains.

"Shh, quiet. We're bustin' out of here." Little John told him.

"Yeah! We're going to free everyone and blow this joint!" Allie whispered with a wide grin.

"Thank God. My prayers have been answered." Fuck rubbed his sore wrists with relief.

A few minutes later they had opened another cell in which most of the villagers were imprisoned in, everyone scattered and did what they could, opening locks with weapons and magic, supporting the weak ones. As they finished up, one of the villagers had spotted Robin through the window as he climbed the princes tower, eager to see what was happening, everybody gathered around the small window to see what was going to happen.

Robin was an excellent cat burglar, or should it be fox burglar? Sakuya didnt know, nor did she care at this point, she just hoped that nothing would go wrong. Silently as a mouse, Robin climbed up to the balcony that belonged to the princes bed room. The prince and Sir Hiss was soundly asleep and snored somewhat peacefully. Suddenly the phony king cried out :"Robin Hood! I'll get even. I'll get..." in his sleep, startling Robin a little, but soon the prince was calm again and Robin shoot over an arrow to the prison cell in which the group were, and with Kailen's changing bow, they sent it back after securing it. Quickly Robin bound together the ropes end and started to attach the moneybags that laid around in the prince's bedroom onto the rope, which he put in motion so that the bags was sent down the the jail.

The prince wasn't a really quiet sleeper and his sleep talking and many sounds set Robin on his toes, neither did it improve the situation when Sir Hiss' snakey tongue tickled Prince John's feet as they hanged out of his bed, specially when it made the prince hit the snake with his foot and thereby also awakening him. Robin dived as fast as he could before Sir Hiss could look around to see if anything was wrong...Appearantly looking in all the wrong directions, the snake saw nothing wrong in the old stone bedroom, only the princes movements in his sleep and went back to bed and tried to sleep again. Robin resumed and the money flowed down to the jail again.

"Praise the Lord and pass the tax rebate!"Tuck said joyfully and held a couple of bags with money.

When everyone held at least one bag of money and no more came from Robin, Little John took the lead:"Come on! Follow me." And he lead everyone down to the ground level. He peaked outside and to their horror, they saw a few last bags of money come, one which had a hole in it and from it money dropped, some which landed on the sheriff, awakening him. With few options left, Little John gagged him with his hands/paws/whatever and dragged him into the tower where Arin put a paralyzing spell on him, but she couldn't do a good spell in the haste and it would only last a few minutes. They ripped of the sheriffs clothes and put them on Little John, who swiftly got out and sat down on the sheriffs chair. Trigger came by once again trying to talk with the sheriff, but as we know it wasn't the sheriff yet he didnt realise it until Little John lifted his cap and grabbed the vulture by his throat, he held tight enough for Trigger to be unable to speak but not so tight that he was unable to breathe.

"Friar, get goin'! Hurry!" Little John told the friar, but it was also meant to all the rest of them too.
Meanwhile the gang hurried to find their way out, the bell in the watch rang that the clock was now four. This made Robin hasten up, he attacked one more bag of money on the rope, then noticed that the prince had some more bags in the bed with him. Carefully he removed the last bags (in the process he also got to see Prince Johns attachment to his thumb! XD) but to his misfortune had Prince John accidently awaken Sir Hiss once again and he saw Robin scurrying over to the balcony and jump onto the rope. Sir his acted as fast as he could, he wrapped his tail around the princes foot and grabbed hold of the rope, and somehow, was the force so great that it dragged Prince John and his bed along, until it reached the balcony which stopped it, but it didnt stop dragging the prince and Sir Hiss along, they tried to hold on unfortunately they weren't strong enough. Robin could do little other than avoiding the the arrows from the guards and climb along the rope till he got inside the jail tower. The Prince and Sir Hiss hit the prison tower hard and fell down onto the ground and witnessed the prisoners run with "his" moneybags.

"Oh, no, no, no. They're getting away with my gold." He shrieked and closed the jail door. "Guards! Guards! To the jail!"

To late did he realize his mistake and a great group of Large body Heartless came thundering against him."Heartless, halt! Stop! Desist!"

Unable to stop, the heartless slammed into him and the jail door, continuing to run into the prison and through a wall (Ouch! Must have hurt!). Out of the new hole, Robin ran and called out to the villagers: "Everybody, this way!" who hurried to join him. As they ran the gang did their best to protect the villagers from the heartless, claws ripped, arrows flew, magical blast flashed, swords swung, Robin and Little John released a load of barrels against a group of large bodies, it was a true miracle that no one got injured! All of the villagers was gathered up on an old carriage, it was very tight but no one complained, they had to get out of there alive!

"That's all of them. Get going!" Robin called as he ran for the lever that controlled the bridge, he jumped up to grab it and it easily sank down and in doing so also lowered the bridge.

"This ain't no hayride. Let's move it out of here. Ho-ooo!" Little John called out as he started running towards the exit and Friar Tuck continued to call out: "On to Sherwood Forest!"

Suddenly Mrs. Rabbit called out:"Stop! My baby!" and to their horror they saw that her baby was being left behind, and not able to run fast enough to get to them. Instinctively reacting, both Robin and Sakuya made a 180 turnaround to save the baby. Dodging arrows they hurried to the child, as Robin scoped him up into his arms, Sakuya cast a magical barrier too stop the arrows, which didnt help that much as the heartless came thundering towards them. And just when it seemed they were reaching safety, the gate closed, locking them in.

"Keep going! Don't worry about us!" Sakuya told Little John as Robin gave him the rabbit baby through the black iron gate.

As the Large bodies came charging, Robin climbed up the gate while Sakuya jumped to the top of the gate (she really thanked the heavens that this world had lighter gravity than her home), Robin spotted a nearby rope which he used to swing down to the ground, and in the process also knocking down the sheriff who had joined the fray, then Robin flew up on another tower, Sakuya herself merely jumped from the gate and over the heartless, but she regretted it as soon as she landed on her feet, they started to hurt really bad but she had no time for that now, she hurried after Robin who was jumping from tower to tower until he reached the princes bedroom tower. She hurried into the tower and met up with him just as he closed a couple of drapes.

"Robin! How are we gonna get out?" Sakuya asked the fox but he wasn't able to answer as the sheriff suddenly burst in with a torch. He swung the torch to burn Sakuya and Robin but just in time they ducked so instead he put the drapes on fire, he then forced them backwards into the room behind the drapes. Sakuya felt like she was at her wits end, she didnt want to hurt the sheriff even if he was evil, he still wasn't soulless like the heartless, or heartless like the nobodies!

He took out a jeweled necklace from under his pink undershirt."I have them! I have Robin Hood and that Keyblade girl!"

~He knows about me? But how?~ Sakuya thought to herself.

Within a second had suddenly a dark portal appeared and out of it stepped a man in a black raincoat, the same design as Kailen and Styryx wore, but this was neither of them, he had a different body and was shorter, but she couldn't see his face.

"Ah! Zaxbel! I have them cornered! Please give me what I need to defeat them!" The sheriff's greedy voice ordered.

"Aaaalrighty then!" Zaxbel agreed with a comically (think Ace Ventura). He lifted his arm and darkness streamed from his hands towards the sheriff."NEGARE!"

The darkness that surrounded the sheriff started to transform him into a grotesque creature worse than any Heartless and Nobody that you could imagine, his bones cracked, twisted and turned, muscles snapped off and reattached themselves, scale like armor grew on him...And if that wasn't horrible enough to witness, his scream could easily break glass, if they had any glass so to say... Sakuya knew that the Negare spell was one of the most horrifying things in the world but she had never thought it would be this bad. This was a fast transformation due to that it was an accepted Negare, but Sakuya didnt dare guess whether this was worse than an reluctant negare...

"Oh! Aren't you sweet sheriffy?! If you didnt already have a name I would name you Fluffy!" The man in raincoat talked to the monster as if it was a real puppy or baby or something. "Eh, Ill call you Fluffy anyway!"

~Fluffy? Dewd that guy's weird...~ Sakuya thought to herself and then glanced at Robin, he was staring with horror at the transformed creature and she knew how he felt, she was feeling the same horror and revulsion for it, but the difference for her was that she was a little more prepared for it, she knew of the negare but Robin had never even heard of anything like it. She turned back her attention to the mystery guy who was fawning over the morphed sheriff. She knew they had to get out of there as the fire spread faster than anyone of they would have thought and she wasn't sure if she would be able to defeat the two enemies, but she wasn't sure if her legs would move even if she wanted to, plus, she wanted to see if she could get some info from the rain coated man.

"Hey! Who ever you are, turn back the sheriff to his real self!"Sakuya yelled to the man in the coat with her keyblade pointed at him.

"Ah! Kitty! You really are a Kitty!"He said with a smile as he saw Sakuya, Sakuya herself could only stare at him with confusion." Oh if I only could tell Puppy! But then Boss would make sure I would get it hot! Hahaha!"

"Um, hallo! Were you listening?" Sakuya asked but didnt think she would get a very good answer as this guy seemed a little bit cuckoo!

"Aaaaalriiiighty then! Sorreeee, but that's a biiiig no-no in my rule book! And a biiiig oh-oh for you! Whooo its hot in here..."He said and then slapped his face as if he just remembered something."Oh how silly of me, my element is fire! Not strange when I'm so hot! Tchhhhhhh!" he licked his finger and put it on his rump and made a sound so it would seem like his butt was hot enough to do that sound.

"Who on earth are you?" Sakuya wondered.

"The name's Zaxbel! Pet lover, Puppy's best friend and no 8 of Neo Organization! I would like to tell you all about where I come from and what my goal in life is but I'm on a deadline...well that's the way the cookie crumbles!" He opened a dark portal." Ill keep the flames controlled long enough for you to umm...decide a winner, I have to go now, but before I'm on my way, here! I bet your brother would want you to have this!" He said and threw an orb, not totally unlike the one they had found earlier. Zaxbel turned and walked into the dark portal while humming some song about some thing called slinky.

The canine like creature lounged forward to hit the two fighters with its blades but he missed them even thought he grazed Sakuya's arm. He continued to attack them furiously and they were barely avoiding him, unable to hurt him due to his thick armor like hide, they couldn't keep it up for long that was for sure.

"How will we ever be able to defeat him? His hide is stronger than a tortoise's shell!" Robin asked, he was starting to run out of arrows.

"Tortoise? Ah! I think I know what to do! If he is really like a tortoise...Eeeeiii!... then his weak point will be his underside! Yiiickes! He'll be defenseless on his back! But how are we going to ....Whoaaaa!...turn him over?" Sakuya continuously dodged the monsters attack.

"But how?" Robin asked.

"Through magic! But my magic can only do so much, you have to use something to turn him over..." Sakuya told him and started to chant the aero spell. Strong winds started to blow around the sheriff, he tried to get away from it but he couldn't no matter how much he struggled. Eventually he started to float above the floor, but Sakuya didnt know for how long she could keep him in the air, the spell was tiring her out and the fire didnt make it any better...sweat drops ran down her light skin, annoying her.

Robin looked around in search of something to use to turn him over, suddenly he remembered his bow and put it underneath the sheriff to use it as a lever. As he started to heave it, the sheriff rolled over. The next moments  went so fast and yet it felt like everything was in slow mo for Sakuya. She opened her eyes, jumped up into the air, the spell broke and the sheriff hit the floor, hard, Sakuya somersaulted over him and directed the keyblade over him to hit him with it, but instead it seemed to come to life on its own, the keyblade shone and its light flooded over to the sheriff, making him turn back to his old self, Sakuya landed next to him and he sat up looking as if he had been hit by an gummiship. Sakuya looked with confusion on the keyblade, she had no clue of just what happened, but she didnt get to do that for long as Robin started to drag her along up the tower to avoid the flames which was now devouring the castle.

As they reached the top of the tower they saw that there was only one way out of the tower, through a small window, they climbed through it and from there they headed up on the towers roof. The flames roared around them, if they were going to make it they had to jump and land in the water outside the castle, which was almost exactly below them. Sakuya looked down once into the water before taking her decision and jumped down into it. It was so cool and welcomed after the flames, it didnt take long before her lungs to scream for air and she swam to the surface. As she surfaced she saw Little John and one of the rabbit kids on the other side of the water, so she quickly swam over to them, she was used to swimming so swimming with clothes on was easy for her.

"Where is Robin?" She asked them as she got out of the water and they just pointed up to the tower and to her horror she saw that he was still there. She had no idea why he hadn't jumped yet, perhaps he was afraid of the fire, but they had no time for that now.

"ROBIN! JUMP!" She screamed to him and he finally jumped. Down into the water he jumped and caused quite a splash, in the next minute Prince John yelled from another tower:

"Kill him! Kill him!" Prince John shook his fist furiously and the arching heartless started to shoot at the surfacing fox.

Robin tried to swim and avoid the arrows, but suddenly he went under the surface, it was hard to see but it looked almost as if he had been hit. He wasn't coming up, the arrows stopped...a smile spread on the princes lips as he watched, meanwhile everyone else who watching was worried for him.

"Come on, Rob. Come on." Little John said, hoping against all that Robin would be okay...

"He's just gotta make it!" The Rabbit boy said, holding his thumbs and Sakuya did the same.

Suddenly his hat surfaced, pierced by an arrow...."No! No! No!" Sakuya called out, feeling that the tears was near and would burst any time...

"Hiss, he's finished! Done for!" The prince rejoiced."La, la, la! Hahaha!"

"He's gonna make it, isn't he, Little John?"Skippy asked Little John who couldn't bring himself to answer, his eyes filled with tears and Skippy understood very well. He hugged the bears hand and his tears made little John's brown fur all wet.

Sakuya couldn't believe it, she wouldn't! She prepared to jump into the water to try to fish out his body and see if she would maybe heal him or something, but just as she was going to do it, she saw something poking up out of the water. "Hey, what's that?"

"Little John, look it! Look it!" Skippy said as soon as he saw it and all of them bend down on the ground to try to see what it was. Suddenly a squirt of water came from it and it hit Little Johns face, which was closest to it.

"Hey, what the?" He asked and then saw Robins head poke out of the water." Hehehe. Oh, man, did you have me worried, Robin! I thought you were long gone."

"Ah, not Robin Hood."the Rabbit kid smiled and hugged the fox."He could've swum twice that far, huh, Mr. Robin Hood, sir?"

Sakuya did not say anything, she just smiled and dried away a few tears of relief and happiness. Suddenly she felt that the keyblade wanted something, she summoned it out and pointed it towards the castle where a sparkling keyhole appeared, a fine line of light beamed from the keyblade to the keyhole and they could then hear a "locking" sound and then the lights faded away.

"Look, Sire! Look! He's made it. He got away again." Sir Hiss called out.

"A pox on that phony King of England! Oo-de-lally! Oo-de-lally!" The small gang at the waters edge called out.

"Oh, no. It's so miserably unfair!"

"Well, I tried to tell you, but, no, no, no, you wouldn't listen. Your traps never work, and look what you've done to your mother's castle." Sir Hiss said, acting quite like a smartypants.

"Mommy!" The prince screamed out, started to suck his thumb and took a piece of wood and tried to hit Sir Hiss, who tried to protest against it, with it."You cowardly cobra!"

"Please! Oh, no!"

"Procrastinating python! Aggravating asp!"

"Save me!"

"You eel in snake's clothing!"

"Help! He's gone stark raving mad!" the snakes screams echoed into the morning.

The rest of the day, most villagers spent in the Sherwood forest, afraid that the prince might retaliate when they got back to their homes, so they stayed in the place they felt most secure from him. It had been a long and exhausting night, Sakuya had no idea how she had managed to get through it but she guessed it was cuz of adrenaline, and for most of the day everyone spent it resting and sleeping...when the evening finally came, they got a mail from King Richard about that he would return within a month or so. Sakuya and her friends decided that they could leave now, since everyone was safe and they had gotten what they came for.
Robin and Marion wanted them to stay a little longer but they understood that the group had to move along...Before they headed back to their ship the two foxes invited the group to their wedding and they promised to come, if they had time for it. And so they left the Sherwood forest, on their way to new adventures.
Ok! The 15th chapter is up! I appologise for being so late with it...its just that it was very slow to be written...I dunno why it was so slow, but it doesnt matter now...its up! yay!

In this chapter there is a new character of mine, I have drawn him before, I wonder if you can figure out who he is in my pics? anyway, he is written to be like most of Jim Carreys characters...a bit selfish, wise cracking, odd, arrogant...Im not sure if I have have been able to catch Jims characters in him but I tried my best...and I made referances! XD Hope you like him as much as I do ^_^
