Alone she wandered down to Exiel's grave monument, the clouds were heavy and dark of impending rain. As she stared at the crystalline boulder and Avian statue that made up the memorial, memories of her childhood friend/love surfaced and her eyes burned with tears.

She couldnt believe that Exiel had died in the war, it felt like it was just yesterday that she had seen him...

Little did she know that he was still alive...
Little did she know the dark future that had been set in motion...
She only knew that Exiel wasnt by her side anymore, and that right now it was time for grieving...

Kilara's Mizgarth for her contest! I seriously doubt Ill win but Im not entering to win really... way too many great artists...

I just got the idea to do a pic with Mizgarth grieving Exiel(her childhood friend and love) when i listened to Carrie Underwood's song "just a dream"... just seemed appropriate with how she is told that Exiel died in the war ( even if he didnt really die)...

And I really wanted to try to make an emotional piece with Miz...no offense to you other who has entered the contest but most entries seems kinda plain, a lot just got stale dolphin smiles... but I wont complain, there are quite a lot great entrants.

I had no idea on how Avian memorial monuments look like so I had to use my own fantasy for it...
