Yeah, yeah, I know its a few days early for 9/11 but I wanted to upload my tribute now since Im not sure if im going to have time for it later on, my schedual changes for each and every week...Last year I forgot that it was 9/11 and ranted about some things that I was mad about...It angered a few persons because, I believe, they thought I was being disrespectfull of the persons who died that day...But I wasn't, I would never be! I couldnt help that I accidently had forgotten the whole thing that day and ranted alittle...I appologised for hurting those persons (but I did not appologise for wrighting a rant, I dont regret it, even now...) but whether or not they forgave me, I dont know...

The whole incident made me realize that there might be still alot of people out there who hasnt really moved on yet...And I became inspired to make a picture that signifies that its time to move on now...(the motif was inspired by the new Naruto ending and an old pokemon manga pic)
The charas are turned away from the 9/11 monument to symbolise that they are moving on, even if they still have grief or anger, and gain strength from their happy, sad, loved and hated memories of those lost, the knowledge that they wouldnt have wanted the still living to be wallowing in the past... The phoenix of light sybolises rebirth... for us and possibly for those lost...(I got the idea for it from the song "Michi~to you all" which I was listnening on for most of the time during this creation...)

As Rafiki from TLK said: "Oh yes, the past can hurt. But the way I see it, you can either run from it, or learn from it. "

So if you havent moved on yet... do it and come with us and will stand strong to create a better tomorrow!

Michi~ To You All~ by Aluto(translated lyrics)

Just like usual,
When I turn around that corner,
I merge into a sea of people
And melt away into nothing.

I lose myself completely,
And can find no words to say

yet,only one thing, your voice
Still remains, still remains

Everything about you, your smile, your anger
keeps me walking forward

if i Just look up,
where the clouds start to break

I think you know what I mean.
I think you know what I mean.

I've lived vaguely too,
But my heart is immature
Over there, look, in that place
Is the person who matters most

If you should become confused,
I will become your guide
If only you'll believe

Making certain of its means,
Without fearing

The light gathers, shooting across the sky
It understands you

And the road on which you walk
Will just keep getting brighter

Anywhere... (Anywhere...x3)

To where hair-voice-mouth-fingertip meet

But it's still just as good... (But it's still just as good...)

Beautiful artwork Sakuya-Chan.It shows alot of emotion into this and...I use to live up in New York, but moved just a couple months ago.Although I'm not there anymore,I still know how it was like, seeing what happened from the news 24/7,seeing a place I went with my family...gone in a instant...And after that, the world just seems to be turning from bad,to worse. But by seeing this piece,I just get this feeling, through all these past 6 years have been, the future, will be happy in the end...

Once again, beautiful piece of art you did.

To the people we'll never meet again there We'll open a window.

Thinking about it far, far back. The future was shining everywhere.
And beneath a beautiful blue sky We were sleeping forever.

wow, this is just amazing.I love it! Like, this is what I think, I think this picture ended up so good because of your feelings for 9/11 and I can feel it expressed here. Beautiful. I lived in DC during 9/11, I was lucky, my dad came home safely to my mom and all us but i know there are a lot who were not as lucky. This is a perfect picture for September 11, hopefully it will help remind everyone why we are in this war. I don't want anyone to ever have to suffer like that again. It's time to move forward and make a better future for ourselves and our children.
September 11th changed my life, but i moved on.
Great job. It's probably one of your best pictures, i like the smile on your character's face as she looks up at the pheonix.
keep up the great work.

I am only one, but I AM one. I cannot do everything but I can do SOMETHING. And what I can do I ought to do and by the grace of God will do.

It is a solemn moment. You've done a very nice tribute to it.

You should be very proud of this piece, you have sinked to many emotion into it, I can feel what they are feeling, not to mention the fabolous colors and design.

Wow! :omfg: This is so beautiful! I remember that day like no other. I had just come home from school, expecting to watch something, when I saw the image of the destroyed Twin Towers on every channel. I didn't even know what the World Trade Centre was at the time. But anyway, lovely job!
